The company is also setting up units for advanced systems and propellants at Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh.
Production at these units will start during the financial year 2027. The units will have a rocket motor testing facility, war head penetration testing facility and also see bulk manufacturing of grad rockets and in-house research and development of new projects.Bharat Dynamics’ current order book is at ₹26,000 crore. It expects fresh order inflow of ₹15,000 crore in FY27.
Bharat Dynamics’ third quarter net profit halved to ₹73 crore from ₹147 crore in the previous year.Its revenue declined 32% to ₹566.3 crore from ₹832.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) declined 79.7% to ₹25.7 crore from ₹126.8 crore in the previous year.
Its EBITDA margin contracted to 4.5% from 15.2% in the year-ago period.
Shares of Bharat Dynamics made an intraday high of ₹1,204 on Friday, before giving up the early gains and are now trading between gains and losses at ₹1,181.
