BJP’s Tejasvi Surya and Sergio Gor share bonhomie over masala dosa, coffee and auto ride — Watch

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tejasvi Surya welcomed recently appointed US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, to Bengaluru on Monday (February 16). The two leaders shared bonhomie over masala dosas, coffee and a Namma auto ride. They discussed the growing India-US partnership in the field of trade, technology and innovation.

Sharing glimpes of his meeting with Gor, Surya said Bengaluru truly represents the journey from masala dosa to machine learning as the city blends tradition with cutting-edge innovation. The duo took a late Namma Auto ride, terming it a ” real Bengaluru experience”.
Surya hosted Gor over some masala dosa and coffee at Indiranagar. “Delighted to welcome HS Sergio Gor, US Ambassador to India, to Bengaluru today. Over some masala dosa & strong coffee at Filter Coffee, Indiranagar, we had an engaging conversation on the growing India US partnership, especially in trade, technology and innovation following the interim trade agreement,” Surya posted on X.

Surya said the IT capital houses over 700 American companies and 43% of India’s software exports come from India’s Silicon Valley. “Home to 40% of India’s GCCs, Bengaluru continues to drive innovation-led partnership between our two democracies,” he wrote.

In turn, Gor thanked Surya for being his ‘great host’.
