Bonus Alert: Capital markets play approves second bonus issue, final dividend; Details here

Shares of Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd. came off the highs of the day, on Thursday, April 9, after the board announced its results for the March quarter, where it also approved a final dividend and a bonus issue of shares.Anand Rathi Wealth’s board has approved the issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1, which means that eligible shareholders will be entitled to receive one bonus share for every one share they have as on the record date.

The record date for the 1:1 bonus issue has not yet been fixed.
In addition to the bonus issue, Anand Rathi Wealth has also approved the payout of ₹7 per share for shareholders as final dividend. The dividend, if approved by the members of the company, will be paid within 30 days from the date of the AGM.
This is the company’s second bonus issue in as many years. In March 2025, Anand Rathi Wealth had also issued bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1.The company has also paid its shareholders dividends worth ₹57 per equity share since January 2022 and has conducted a buyback of shares in June 2024.

At the end of the third quarter, promoters held 43.1% stake in the firm, mutual funds owned 9.12% stake, while around ₹70,000 retail shareholders, or those with an authorised share capital of up to ₹2 lakh, held 17% stake. Meanwhile, retail shareholders with authorised share capital of over ₹2 lakh held 14.78% stake.

Shares of Anand Rathi Wealth are off the highs of the day, and are now trading 1.2% higher at ₹3,445.2.
