Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL) reported a decline in its first quarter net profit and EBITDA on Saturday, July 26.Its net profit declined 23.6% to ₹102.4 crore in the June quarter from ₹134 crore in the previous year.
The company’s revenue increased marginally by 0.6% to ₹259 crore in comparison to ₹257.4 crore in the first quarter of the previous fiscal.
It reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of ₹130.6 crore in the June quarter. This was 15.1% lower than the ₹154.4 crore it reported in the same period last fiscal.CDSL’s margin contracted to 50.4% from 60% in the year-ago period.
