A cat has stolen the spotlight at the Xiyuan Temple in Suzhou, China, enthralling tourists with its unexpected yet adorable ritual. A video of this charming cat ‘blessing’ visitors at the temple has gone viral on social media. Sporting a striking gold-coloured chain, this feline offered blessings in the form of high-fives to tourists.In the viral clip, the cat was seen extending its paw to visitors to ‘bless’ them. The video was posted by the Instagram account that goes by the name ‘China Focus’, with an overlay text that read, “Temple cat gives high fives and blessings to all.”
“In Suzhou, the adorable little cat at the West Garden Temple, sporting a gold chain, is giving high-fives and posing for photos with visitors. It seems to spread blessings and good luck all around!,” read the caption on Instagram.

The Xiyuan Temple, or West Garden Temple, is an old Buddhist temple that was constructed in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Located in Suzhou, it features sacred temples and classical gardens.
