Dividend Alert | HAL announces ₹10 final payout for FY26; check record date

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) on Monday, June 29, announced a final dividend of ₹10 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26, rewarding shareholders after another year of healthy profitability.In a regulatory filing, the state-run aerospace and defence manufacturer said its board has recommended a final dividend of ₹10 per share of face value ₹5 each, equivalent to 200%, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The company has fixed August 14, 2026, as the record date for determining eligible shareholders. The dividend, once approved at the AGM, will be paid within 30 days of the approval date.
The announcement comes as HAL continues to benefit from strong order visibility and sustained government focus on defence indigenisation and domestic manufacturing.
The dividend declaration follows a healthy set of earnings reported for the March quarter. HAL posted a net profit of ₹4,184 crore, comfortably ahead of market expectations. Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹13,943 crore, while EBITDA came in at ₹5,057 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 36.3%.While revenue growth remained modest at 1.8% year-on-year, profit rose 5.7% from a year earlier. The company also reported a sharp decline in provisions, which fell 88% from the corresponding quarter last year to ₹166 crore.

Margins, however, came under some pressure as material costs increased significantly and accounted for a larger share of overall sales.

Shares of HAL were trading at ₹4,327.40 on the NSE in afternoon trade on Monday.
