Dixon Technologies sells 3.8% stake in Aditya Infotech for ₹661 crore via block deal

A block deal in Aditya Infotech Ltd saw promoter Dixon Technologies offload a 3.8% stake in the company for ₹661 crore on Wednesday, February 25.

Sources had earlier told CNBC-TV18 that Aditya Infotech, its promoters and Dixon Technologies were likely to offload up to 5.8% stake through a block deal estimated at around ₹1,000 crore. The floor price was expected to be set at a 0.6% discount to the prevailing market price.

Among the key buyers were Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund and Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fundwhich purchased shares worth around ₹180 crore each. Other investors participating in the transaction included Axis Mutual Fund, HDFC Life Insurance and 360 ONE Mutual Fund.

Shares of Dixon Technologies ended marginally lower on Wednesday, February 25, by 1.57% at ₹10,360.00 on the NSE.

Shares of Aditya Infotech Ltd ended higher on Wednesday, February 25, by 7.02% at ₹1,578.00 on the NSE.
