As head of the Presidential Personnel Office, Scavino will oversee the recruitment and selection of individuals for senior roles across the Executive Branch. Trump described it as “a very big and important position” and offered high praise for Scavino’s appointment.

“Congratulations Dan, you will do a fantastic job!!!” the president added.
According to the White House, the Presidential Personnel Office is responsible for managing presidential appointments and identifying candidates to serve in leadership roles across various federal departments and agencies. Scavino, a long-time adviser to Trump, has held several key positions in the administration since its early days.
Meanwhile, US Ambassador-designate Sergio Gor said on October 11 said that the US greatly valued its relationship with India after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Gor, who arrived in New Delhi on October 10, said that he had a great series of meetings, including with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.

“I had an incredible meeting with Prime Minister Modi. We discussed bilateral issues, including defence, trade and technology,” he said after meeting the prime minister.
“We also discussed the importance of critical minerals,” he said.
The US greatly values its relationship with India, Gor said, adding President Donald Trump considers PM Modi as a great and personal friend.
