Dow futures down over 320 points; Chinese shadow bank seeks state help

Futures on the Dow Jones are now down 300 points, while those on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down 35 and 110 points respectively. The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has left its one-year and five-year prime lending rates unchanged, continuing its trend from October last year. Brent Crude is now nearing levels of $68 per barrel, having declined to levels of $60 per barrel earlier this month.
