Enviro Infra wins two EPC contracts worth ₹972 crore for sewage projects

Enviro Infra Engineering has secured two major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts on Saturday, April 11, worth a combined ₹972 crore from the Swachh Maharashtra Mission Directorate, according to an exchange filing.

The first contract, valued at ₹587.21 crore (including GST), involves the development of a 120.50 million litres per day (MLD) sewage treatment plant (STP) under Category-I.

The project also includes 209 km of interception and diversion (I&D) pipelines and 887.20 km of sewer network across 306 urban local bodies (ULBs) with populations below one lakh, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.

The second order, worth ₹384.98 crore (including GST), entails the development of a 121.10 MLD STP under Category-II, covering ULBs with STP capacity of 5 MLD and above.

This project includes 105.50 km of I&D pipelines and 433.68 km of sewer network across the same set of urban local bodies.

Both contracts are domestic in nature and are to be executed over a period of 24 months.

The projects are part of the broader Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 initiative aimed at strengthening sewage treatment infrastructure and improving sanitation coverage across smaller urban centres in Maharashtra.

Shares of Enviro Infra Engineering ended higher on Friday, April 10, by 1.25% at ₹173.15 on the NSE.
