Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre dies by suicide, family says

Virginia Giuffre, who accused financier Jeffrey Epstein and Britain’s Prince Andrew of sexual abuse as a teenager, has died by suicide, her family said. She was 41.Giuffre died at her farm in Western Australia on Friday night, her family said in a statement.
“She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking,” according to the statement.
Giuffre settled a lawsuit against Epstein before his 2019 death in a Manhattan jail cell while he was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges in New York. She also sued Epstein’s former girlfriend British socialite, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2015 for defamation. That case also settled.Giuffre’s allegations that Epstein “lent” her to Prince Andrew for sexual abuse rocked the royal family and led to King Charles’s younger brother being stripped of honorific titles and royal patronages. Prince Andrew settled the suit for an undisclosed sum.
