Fortis had been managing the facility under an operation and maintenance (O&M) arrangement since October 2002. The hospital will now operate as Fortis Hospital Greater Noida under the new lease.
The facility is a 1.35 acre UPSIDA-leased land with 2.7 lakh square feet built-up area. It has the potential to expand its capacity by 50 beds, taking the total to 250 beds.The project is strategically located as it is connected by Greater Noida Expressway, Metro (Aqua line), Yamuna Expressway and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. It is 34 km from the upcoming Jewar International Airport.
“Our focus will remain on delivering high-quality, ethical and patient-centric care while exploring opportunities for further growth,” Fortis Healthcare MD and CEO Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said.
Shares of Fortis Healthcare ended the previous session 1.7% higher at ₹926.7 apiece. The stock has gained 7.5% in the past month, 47.3% in the last six months and 30.8% this year, so far.
