Godawari Power & Ispat Q2 results: Net profit, revenue rise marginally; operating margins improve

Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd reported a slight rise in quarterly profit on Friday, supported by higher revenue and improved operating performance.The steel and pellet maker’s net profit rose 1.5% to ₹161 crore for the September quarter, compared with ₹159 crore a year earlier. Revenue increased 3.2% to ₹1,307 crore from ₹1,267 crore.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 5.2% to ₹259.3 crore, up from ₹246.5 crore last year, while operating margins improved to 19.8% from 19.5%.
