Godrej Properties buys 20-acre Bengaluru land with ₹1,350 crore revenue potential

Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd rose nearly 2% on Wednesday, March 18, after the company said that it has acquired a land parcel spanning about 20 acres in Bengaluru, where it plans to develop a premium residential project.The proposed development will have an estimated revenue potential of around ₹1,350 crore, strengthening the company’s presence in the Whitefield micro-market, it said in an exchange filing.

The land parcel is located near NH-648 Main Road in the Whitefield growth corridor, a key residential and commercial hub driven by the presence of technology companies and strong employment opportunities.

Godrej Properties said the location offers connectivity to the Whitefield–ITPL region, along with access to metro stations at Kadugodi and Hopefarm on the Purple Line.

The company noted that the micro-market has seen sustained residential demand, supported by well-developed social infrastructure, including schools, healthcare facilities, retail and leisure hubs.

Earlier this month, Godrej acquired an 11.36-acre land parcel on the Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram for residential development, with an estimated revenue potential of ₹4,500 crore.

Shares of Godrej Properties Ltd were trading 1,611.20 as of 11.09 am on Wednesday (March 18) following the announcement. The stock has lost 14.53% in the last month.
