GR Infraprojects bags ₹1,454 crore NHAI highway project in Gujarat

G R Infraprojects Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth ₹1,453.57 crore from the National Highways Authority of India for a highway upgradation project in Gujarat, the company said in a regulatory filing on March 30.The project involves converting an existing two-lane carriageway into a four-lane divided carriageway on a stretch of NH-56. The scope covers a 60.21 km section from Nasarpore village in Umarpada Taluka to Malotha village in Vyara Taluka.

The contract has been awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) and pertains to Package-VI of the broader highway project. The total contract value stands at ₹1,453.57 crore, excluding GST.
The company said the project is scheduled to be completed within 910 days from the appointed date. It also clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, with no involvement of related parties or promoter group interest in the awarding authority.Also read: GR Infra wins ₹413 crore battery storage project from NTPC

The project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen road infrastructure and improve connectivity along the NH-56 corridor in Gujarat.

Shares of G R Infraprojects ended 1.80% lower at ₹790 on the NSE.
