GR Infraprojects Ltd on Wednesday, May 18, announced that it has emerged as L-1 bidder for a construction project worth ₹2,440.87 crore in Bihar.
The company, in a regulatory exchange, said the project involves the construction of a four-lane greenfield section of National Highway 33 from Mokama to Munger.
The project is to be carried out under a public-private partnership framework and completed within 910 days, or nearly two-and-a-half years.
The company said the trading window for designated persons will remain closed until 48 hours after the announcement, in line with SEBI’s insider trading regulations.

Last month, GR Infraprojects secured a construction project worth ₹1,897 crore from West Central Railway. Per the contract, it will build a new railway line between Bahari and Gondawali stations in Madhya Pradesh, covering the stretch from km 124/400 to km 165/380.

In Q3 of the current financial year, the company reported 7.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹261.7 crore. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, GR Infraprojects posted a net profit of ₹242.7 crore. Revenue, however, was down 20.6% to ₹1,694.5 crore from ₹2,134 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of the company closed at ₹925.05, down 0.68% for the day on Wednesday, March 18.
