Greenpanel Industries shares surge 17%, the most in over six years on record volumes

Shares of Greenpanel Industries Ltd. are trading with gains of 13% on Thursday, September 11, extending its gaining streak for the fourth straight session.This is the biggest single-day gain that the stock has witnessed in 2025 so far and also the biggest since November 2019.

Greenpanel Industries’ shares have surged on volumes that are the most traded in a single trading session on record for the company.

Close to 1.5 crore shares of Greenpanel Industries have changed hands in Thursday’s trade, which is well above the stock’s 20-day average volume of 65,000 shares at this time of the day.
With this move, the stock has broken above its 50-Day Moving Average of ₹283 and 200-Day Moving Average of ₹290. The stock is also nearing its highest level in the last two months.Despite this move, the stock of Greenpanel Industries is still down 18% so far in 2025, after having declined another 12% in 2024.

On the charts, this four-day winning streak has also taken Greenpanel into “overbought” territory, with its Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 73. An RSI reading above 70 means that the stock is in “overbought” territory.

20 analysts have coverage on Greenpanel Industries, 10 of whom have a “buy” rating on the stock, seven say “hold”, while three others have a “sell” rating on the stock.

Shares of Greenpanel Industries are trading 17.4% higher at ₹321.
