HG Infra chair Harendra Singh gets anticipatory bail; four officials released in CBI case

HG Infra Engineering Ltd on Friday said the Court of Special Judge, CBI-1, Patna has granted anticipatory bail to its Chairman and Managing Director Harendra Singh in connection with the ongoing CBI matter.

The court also granted bail to four company officials — Anoop Singh, Gaurav Kushwaha, Akash Patra and Dhiraj Virmani — who were released from judicial custody.

The development comes weeks after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Patna conducted search operations on January 21, 2026 at the company’s corporate office in Jaipur, its regional office in Gurugram and a project site in Bihar. Following the searches, shares of HG Infra had declined as much as 16% on January 23.

In an exchange filing, the company said it will continue to extend full cooperation to the enforcement agencies and will promptly inform stock exchanges of any further developments in the matter.

As of 2:17 pm, shares of HG Infra Engineering Ltd were trading at ₹551.15 on the NSE, down 1.24% for the day.
