Hiring for AI jobs paying over ₹30 lakh/year jumps 27% in May: Report

Other cities such as Bhubaneswar (+8%), Coimbatore (+8%), and Bhubaneswar also indicate steady expansion, while Bengaluru (+2%) and Jaipur (+3%) show modest gains.
In contrast, several major hubs including Mumbai (-6%), Pune (-1%), Kolkata (-5%), and Chandigarh (-7%) witnessed declines, reflecting uneven hiring momentum across regions.

The map also underscores the rise of non-metro cities as emerging hiring hotspots, especially for fresher recruitment.
