Indian equities post longest weekly losing streak in two years

With Friday’s decline, the benchmark Nifty50 ended the week 1.1% lower, extending its losing streak to five consecutive weeks—the longest in two years. The last time the index witnessed such a prolonged stretch of losses was between July 23 and August 20, 2023.
