Stock futures fluctuate mixed earnings reports

Futures tied to the S&P 500 rose 0.1%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 118 points, or 0.3%. McDonald’s shares climbed 3% after the company beat Street estimates on both revenue and earnings for the second quarter. The fast-food chain also reported its strongest same-store sales growth in nearly two years. Arista Networks surged 11% after delivering a better-than-expected earnings report. In contrast, Snap plunged 18% after its revenue slightly missed forecasts. AMD dropped around 6% after its adjusted earnings per share came in below estimates.
