InterGlobe Aviation to enter Sensex 30 on Dec 22, replacing Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles

Date:

InterGlobe Aviation Ltd , the parent company of IndiGo, India’s largest airline, will join the BSE Sensex, the country’s most tracked benchmark index, effective December 22, 2025. The announcement was made by BSE Index Services Pvt Ltd, which released the latest reconstitution list for multiple indices.
InterGlobe Aviation will be added to the Sensex, replacing Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles. The move positions InterGlobe among the top 30 most influential and liquid companies in the country’s capital markets.
Sensex reconstitution typically reflects changes in market leadership and stock performance. The addition of InterGlobe, the first aviation-sector company in years to be inducted, signals the rising investor confidence in the airline’s growth strategy, fleet expansion and sustained profitability.
