International Unemployment Day: Top 10 countries with highest unemployment rate

The unemployment rate is calculated as the percentage of unemployed workers in the overall labour force. The unemployment rate comprises workers currently unemployed while having the ability to work. As per the data from the International Labour Organization (ILO), the global unemployment rate is projected to remain at 5% in 2025. According to the World Bank, the top 10 countries with highest unemployment rates are as follows:
