Iran claims it shot down US F-15 fighter jet, video shows pilot ejecting in parachute

Iran claimed that it shot down an American F-15 fighter jet. The aircraft was reportedly seen crashing in Kuwait. A video going viral on the social media shows a pilot ejecting from it through a parachute.The incident remains officially unconfirmed by Washington till the time or writing this report.

However, a few US reports suggested the possibility of a “friendly fire”, as per News18.

The pilot ejected before impact, and a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) showed the jet bursting into flames mid-air before plunging to the ground.
