Videos of the three tech leaders enjoying Chimaek, a popular combination of fried chicken and beer, at Kkanbu Chicken in Seoul is getting a lot of love from tech enthusiasts and is driving up stocks of fried chicken restaurant chains and poultry processors.
According to a Bloomberg report, the viral videos shot up the stocks of fried chicken chain Kyochon F&B Co. briefly by 20%, poultry processor Cherrybro Co. by 30% on Friday, October 31.
The three heads were also seen enjoying a “love shot”, a drinking practice where people interlink their arms and take a shot of alcohol.
“This is very good for your health right? I love fried chicken and I love beer and I love fried chicken and beer with my friends,” Huang reportedly told media on his way out.

Huang also reportedly came with gifts for the heads of Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group. The three of them also went to Nvidia’s GeForce Gamer Festival held at Coex’s K-pop Square in Seoul.

Netizens were quick to dig up older videos of the tech leader talking about his love for Korean fried chicken. “I don’t know why Korea has the world’s best fried chicken but Korea has the world’s best fried chicken. The best fried chicken in America is Korean,” Huang can be found saying in one.
Huang is taking part in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO summit in South Korea. The CEO has been actively tapping markets in Asia and elsewhere, especially after it lost significant market share in China from about 95% to zilch, due to geopolitical issues.
Talks to export its Blackwell chips to China also did not figure in the recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
