What are extended-stay hotels?
Extended-stay hotels are designed for guests who need accommodation for several days or even weeks. Unlike regular hotels, these properties offer facilities that make longer stays convenient and comfortable. Amenities usually include fully-equipped kitchenettes, in-room workspaces, self-service laundry, high-speed internet, and flexible housekeeping services.In a statement released by PRISM, the company stated that most of the newly-launched hotels have around 100-120 rooms, helping the company improve their operational efficiency while serving a wide range of long-stay travellers.

Riteish Agarwal, Founder and Chairman of PRISM, said, “In the USA, we are seeing a shift towards longer-duration stays driven by project-based travel, medical staff, construction crew, temporary stays due to home renovation and a growing need for dependable, high-quality yet affordable accommodation. This expansion aims to bring a tech-enabled, operations-first approach to hospitality, while making efforts to ensure consistency, efficiency, and an elevated guest experience at scale.”

He continued, “As an India-born company, we are proud to demonstrate our ability to operate and grow in those competitive markets, while aiming to establish benchmarks for value and quality in the extended stay segment.”
The expansion comes after PRISM acquired G6 Hospitality for $525 million.
