L&T wins multiple ‘large’ real-estate orders across India

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. on Thursday, May 7, announced that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured multiple large orders from a major real-estate client across three states in India.L&T categorises projects valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore as ‘large’ orders.


One of the orders involves a residential project in Hyderabad, where the company will undertake the design and construction of 10 high-rise residential towers, each up to 180 metres tall, with a configuration of two basements and 55 floors. The scope also includes construction of two clubhouses.Another order relates to a luxury residential tower in Worli, Mumbai. The project includes construction of the RCC shell and core structure for a tower rising up to 260 metres, featuring five basements and 63 floors.

The third project is located in Karnataka and includes the construction of multiple residential villas, a luxury hotel and related structures. L&T’s scope includes the RCC shell and core structure along with associated finishing work.

The company said its Buildings & Factories vertical has extensive expertise in executing EPC projects across segments including residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, data centres, factories, automobile facilities, renewable energy plants, chemical and glass plants, and other complex industrial structures.

Shares of L&T were trading 0.3% lower at ₹3,997.30 during the session. The stock has gained 8% over the past month, though it remains down 4% so far this year.
