The debut featured the Cyber X ‘Box’ concept, the upgraded MG Cyberster MY 2026, and the limited Cyberster Black 101st Anniversary Edition.The Cyber X concept reflects MG’s shift from its racing heritage to a broader focus on urban commuting, off-road exploration, and outdoor leisure, aiming to attract younger, adventure-seeking drivers.
Designed by Joseph Kaban, known for the Bugatti Veyron, Cyber X is a design study for global markets. The company describes it as a ‘global urban adventure toy’ as it combines a tall silhouette with short front and rear overhangs for a unique look that blends city and off-road vibes.
Its ‘Stardust Gray’ paint has a matte sandstone texture when still but reflects light and shadow when moving, resembling ripples on a glass surface. The design includes a modern take on classic pop-up headlights, improving aerodynamics while adding a retro touch.
