Mike Waltz reacts after Trump removes him as NSA

Mike Waltz, the outgoing National Security Advisor (NSA) of the United States, has reacted after being removed from the position. Waltz, an army veteran, has been removed from the position of the US NSA and has been deployed as the US ambassador to the United Nations.Read More: Who is Mike Waltz? Reacting to this development for the first time, Waltz took to X, formerly Twitter, and said, “I’m deeply honored to continue my service to President Trump and our great nation.”

Waltz was reacting to the post from US President Donald Trump, in which he made the announcement.In his post, Trump announced his decision to nominate Mike Waltz as US ambassador to the UN. “From his time in uniform on the battlefield, in Congress and, as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation’s Interests first,” he added in his Truth Social post.Trump also added that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the senior-most cabinet member, will take the additional charge from Waltz.

Waltz was embroiled in a major fiasco wherein he inadvertently added The Atlantic editor J. Goldberg to a classified conversation involving senior cabinet members of the Trump administration on Signal. This Signal text chain involved a discussion of war plans ahead of the US strikes on the Houthis in Yemen.
