MRF Dividend: Board approves joint-highest payout ever for shareholders; Details here

The board of tyre manufacturer MRF Ltd. has approved the joint-highest dividend payout for its shareholders alongside its fourth quarter results that were reported on Thursday, May 7.MRF’s board approved a final dividend of ₹229 per share, taking the total dividend payout for financial year 2026 to ₹235 per share. MRF had earlier paid two interim dividends of ₹3 each to shareholders.

The current dividend payout is subject to approval from shareholders at its ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM). Record date for the payment of dividend has not been disclosed yet.
Last year, MRF’s board had also approved a final dividend of ₹229 per share.For the March quarter, MRF reported a 37.6% jump in its net profit to ₹702 crore, while its revenue increased by 13.7% from the year-ago period to ₹8,044 crore from ₹7,075 crore.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 21.5% year-on-year to ₹1,305.3 crore, while margins expanded by 100 basis points to 16.2% from 15.2% last year.

Shares of MRF are now trading 1.3% higher after the announcement of the results and the dividend at ₹1,31,865. The stock is down 20% from its record high level of ₹1,63,600.
