State-run Navratna PSU NBCC (India) Ltd has secured a ₹340.17-crore contract for the construction of phase-I works of the Central University of Kashmir at Tulmulla, Ganderbal.
The major project, awarded by the Central University of Kashmir, underscores NBCC’s role in executing large-scale institutional infrastructure.
Last week, the company secured a ₹350.31-crore work order from the Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF) for providing project management consultancy (PMC) services for major capital civil works at HVF and AVNL Estate.
Q2 results
Alongside this order win, the company reported a 26% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to ₹153.5 crore for the September 2025 quarter, compared to ₹122 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations rose 19% YoY to ₹2,910.2 crore from ₹2,446 crore, reflecting steady execution across its project portfolio.
However, EBITDA remained largely unchanged at ₹100.8 crore versus ₹100.3 crore in the year-ago period, while operating margins softened slightly to 3.5% from 4% due to cost pressures.
The board of directors also approved a second interim dividend of ₹0.21 per share (21%) for FY26, with November 19, 2025, set as the record date for eligibility.
Shares of the company ended lower on Thursday, November 13, by 3.11% at ₹108.58 on the NSE.
