NBCC bags ₹76 crore order from Dharanidhar University in Odisha

Date:

State-run construction major NBCC (India) Limited has secured a ₹76.27 crore (excluding GST) work order from Dharanidhar University, Keonjhar, Odisha, the company said in an exchange filing on February 23, 2026.

The order involves the construction of an academic block, a hostel building and related infrastructure, including external development works. The project will be executed under the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model in the normal course of business.

NBCC (India) Limited is a government-owned construction and real estate firm under India’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, specialising in project management consultancy (PMC), engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), and real estate development for civil infrastructure.

It handles everything from conceptualisation and feasibility studies to execution, commissioning, and maintenance of projects like buildings, roads, airports, hospitals, and border infrastructure—both in India and abroad.

Earlier this month, NBCC said it had bagged additional orders worth ₹271.32 crore.

These include ₹9.13 crore for constructing ICMAI chapter buildings at Chandigarh, Ranchi and Baroda, ₹26.06 crore for a headquarters building at Lodhi Road, ₹4 crore for a Centre of Excellence in Jaipur, and a ₹232.13 crore contract from the Uttarakhand Fisheries Department for the Namami Ganga Aquarium-cum-Discovery Learning Centre at Rishikesh.

In another development, NBCC signed an agreement with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on February 2, 2026, to undertake construction, renovation and repair of KVS schools across India under the PMC route. The project size will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Shares of NBCC ended today’s trade 0.7% higher at ₹95.6 on the NSE.
