NSE Academy ties up with CFA Institute to bring global investment certifications to India

NSE Academy Limited, a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., has partnered with CFA Institute to strengthen investment and financial markets education in India, with a focus on workforce readiness and professional upskilling.Announced on 28 January 2026, the collaboration will enable NSE Academy to offer a range of globally recognised certification and professional learning programmes from CFA Institute. These include the Investment Foundations Certificate® (IFC) and other learning programmes covering investment foundations, financial markets, data science, ESG and allied domains.
Under the partnership, CFA Institute’s internationally benchmarked certifications will be integrated into NSE Academy’s existing upskilling initiatives and professional certificate programmes. The collaboration brings together CFA Institute’s global expertise in investment education and NSE Academy’s market-focused offerings in financial markets, fintech and ESG.
Participants enrolled through NSE Academy will gain access to structured learning modules, assessments and globally relevant credentials. The programmes will span areas such as investment fundamentals, performance measurement, risk attribution, ESG, climate finance, blockchain and decentralised finance (DeFi), as well as data science applications for investment professionals, helping learners build practical and industry-aligned skills.Beyond certifications, the partnership also plans joint initiatives in thought leadership and professional engagement. These include industry roundtables, webinars and learning forums, leveraging CFA Institute’s global network of practitioners and alumni alongside NSE Academy’s BFSI industry and higher education partners.

Commenting on the collaboration, Paul Moody, Managing Director, Global Partnerships & Client Solutions at CFA Institute, said the partnership brings the Investment Foundations Certificate® into India’s executive and partner-led learning ecosystem, helping professionals build an ethics-anchored foundation that translates into workplace impact.
