The Exchange advised investors not to subscribe to any scheme or product offered by any person or entity promising indicative, assured or guaranteed returns in the stock market, stating that such offerings are prohibited by law. Investors have also been cautioned against sharing their trading credentials, including user ID and password, with anyone.

Participation in such prohibited schemes is at investors’ own risk, cost and consequences, as these schemes are neither approved nor endorsed by the Exchange.

The Exchange also clarified that in case of disputes relating to such prohibited schemes, investors will not have access to benefits of investor protection under the Exchange’s jurisdiction, the Exchange dispute resolution mechanism, or the investor grievance redressal mechanism administered by the Exchange.
