Pakistan also rejected India’s decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty, saying that it is a lifeline for 240 million Pak citizens, reported PTI. “Any attempt to divert or stop water meant for Pakistan under Indus Water Treaty will be considered Act of War,” read a statement by Pak.
Pakistan has also suspended all trade with India, including that happens through the means of other countries with immediate effect.

A complete diplomatic and logistical freeze is reportedly now in action, as it has suspended all bilateral agreements along with the Simla Agreement.
It has asked the military advisers at Indian High Commission to leave by April 30, while also suspending visas for Indians under SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme, barring Sikh pilgrims. India also banned the visas for Pakistani nationals and has asked each individual in the country to leave within 48 hours, as per Pakistani daily, Dawn.
Pakistan has said that it unequivocally condemns terrorism. “Pakistan declares the Indian Defence, Naval and Air Advisors in Islamabad persona non grata. They are directed to leave Pakistan immediately but not later than 30 April 2025,” Pak’s statement said.
