In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Paras Defence stated: “Cerbair, France… has acknowledged the swift progress of Paras Anti-Drone… in the development of CHIMERA 200 Project involving drone anti-jamming technology and has hence issued a Letter of Intent with a requirement to purchase 30 units… valued at approximately €2.2 million (₹22.21 crore).”Cerbair’s intent to procure CHIMERA units underscores the global interest in India’s homegrown counter-drone technology, particularly as drone threats continue to evolve across military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure sectors.
Paras Defence, the parent firm, is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of a wide array of advanced defence and space engineering systems.
Shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd ended at ₹1,629.00, up by ₹27.55, or 1.72%, on the BSE.
