PCBL unit secures US patent for next-generation energy storage technologies

Nanovace Technologies Ltd., a subsidiary of PCBL Chemical Ltd., has been granted a process patent by the United States Patent Office for its proprietary method of developing nanomaterials tailored for next-generation energy storage technologies.This breakthrough patent marks a major milestone in PCBL’s R&D journey and further strengthens its intellectual property portfolio in the energy storage space.
The patent grant not only validates the company’s technological innovation but also opens up new opportunities for strategic partnerships, licensing, and potential commercialisation in global markets.
Having successfully demonstrated the technology at the lab scale, Nanovace Technologies is now setting up a pilot plant, expected to be ready by Q3 FY26, to showcase the industrial-scale viability of its solution.PCBL believes this development will enhance its long-term growth prospects and aligns with its vision of becoming a leader in sustainable energy solutions.

Shares of PCBL Chemical Ltd. were trading 0.87% higher on Monday at ₹424.10. However, the stock remains down 8% on a year-to-date basis.
