PM Modi discusses India-US ties in phone call with President Trump

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump on Monday, January 27, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the India-US partnership and fostering mutual trust and collaboration.

The discussion focused on enhancing the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and exploring avenues to benefit both nations.

After the call, Modi took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to share details of the exchange.

“Delighted to speak with my dear friend President @realDonaldTrump @POTUS,” Modi posted. “Congratulated him on his historic second term. We are committed to a mutually beneficial and trusted partnership. We will work together for the welfare of our people and towards global peace, prosperity, and security.”
