Praveg inks hotel management agreement with IHCL for Lakshadweep resort

Praveg Ltd. has signed a hotel management agreement with Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) to manage its luxury resort located in Lakshadweep.As per this agreement, IHCL will manage Praveg Ltd’s luxurious property, Praveg Atoll, which is situated on Bangaram Island in Lakshadweep.

The resort will be classified under the prestigious SeleQtions brand, further elevating its luxury offerings, Praveg stated in a press release on Monday.

Through the partnership with IHCL, Praveg Ltd has taken a major step towards delivering exceptional hospitality in one of India’s most distinctive and desirable locations.IHCL is known for its excellence in the luxury hospitality industry, and the collaboration will provide Bangaram Island Resort’s guests with an extraordinary experience while taking good care of the highest standards of service and sustainability, Praveg Ltd. said in the filing.

As per the agreement details between the two companies, the Indian Hotels Company will take full operational control of the Bangaram Island property and manage the resort’s day-to-day operations.The hotels major will also accommodate its renowned luxury standards to the island property while focusing on maintaining the ecological balance of the island and promoting sustainable tourism practices at the same time.

The agreement comprises IHCL implementing signature personalised services, like gourmet dining experiences, luxurious spa treatments and bespoke recreational activities to enhance the guests’ stay experience.

The integration of the SeleQtions brand and IHCL’s well-established loyalty programs is expected to draw affluent travelers, boosting the resort’s overall allure.

Praveg’s shares declined over 4% to ₹468.75 per piece on the BSE at 12:24 pm on Monday.
