शुक्रवार को सेंसेक्स 0.34% बढ़कर 77,763.94 पर बंद हुआ, जबकि निफ्टी 50 0.39% बढ़कर 24,270.85 पर पहुंच गया। सप्ताह के दौरान अस्थिरता कम हुई, डर गेज सूचकांक भारत VIX 13.05 से गिरकर 11.79 पर आ गया। इसके अलावा, कच्चे तेल की कीमतें 75.07 डॉलर से घटकर 72.70 डॉलर प्रति बैरल पर आ गईं, जिससे ऊर्जा आयात पर काफी हद तक निर्भर अर्थव्यवस्था को कुछ राहत मिली, जबकि रुपया दबाव में रहा, डॉलर के मुकाबले 0.92% कमजोर होकर 95.223 पर आ गया।
