Members of the Russian President’s Federal Protection Service (FPS) collect his human waste, store it in special bags and transport it in dedicated briefcases, The Express US cited a report by investigative journalists Regis Gente and Mikhail Rubin from the French publication Paris Match.The pair said that they have been collecting Putin’s excrement for years, including his May 2017 visit to France. The unusual security measure is believed to be implemented to prevent foreign powers from collecting samples of Putin’s bodily faeces to acquire information about the Russian leader’s health.

She stated that a source revealed that the president has been engaging in the activity since assuming office in 1999.The reports come amid ongoing concerns about the 72-year-old president’s health. Concerns were raised over the years after Putin appeared to jerk his legs during a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, in November.
The report further mentioned that Dr Bob Berookhim suspected that it could be a neurological condition like Parkinson’s disease.
In 2023, he was also seen twitching in his seat at a meeting with Belarusian President Alexandr Lukashenko.

Other stories described an alleged cardiac arrest that required the leader to be taken to a specialised intensive care unit at his official residence.
