RPP Infra Projects Ltd, engaged in infrastructure development, on Wednesday (March 5), said it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for a new contract worth ₹80.98 crore, including GST, from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
The project involves improving water supply infrastructure under the Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam initiative in Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes constructing underground water tanks, setting up water distribution stations, laying feeder mains, replacing PVC water mains, and strengthening water infrastructure across multiple depots in areas IV and V.

“We inform you that RPP Infra Projects Ltd has been received letter of acceptance for a new projects — improvement of Water Supply by constructing Under GROUNG Tanks water distribution stations and Laying of feeder main in Area I & V including Replacement of PVC water main, renewal of checked-up water main, Strengthening of various sizes of water main in various depots in Area IV & Area V under Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam Tamilnadu for Contract Value of ₹80.98 Crores (inc GST),” according to a stock exchange filing.
The contract also covers stormwater drainage works in the Kovalam Basin (package 16) under the KfW fund, benefiting various streets in zone 15 of the Greater Chennai Corporation. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Shares of RPP Infra Projects Ltd ended at ₹131, up by ₹6.20, or 4.97%, on the BSE.
