The Sensex is also on the rise, jumping to 75,200, rising by a mammoth 1,100 points.Today is the monthly expiry of the Sensex contracts, which got pushed ahead by a day as Thursday is a trading holiday.Traders may want to remain light on positions going into a holiday, especially since the situation in West Asia remains fragile and markets are reacting to contradictory reports. For the Nifty, the 23,000 mark remains the key level to watch, as a sustained move above 23,000 could trigger a further short squeeze.A rebound in HDFC Bank soothed frayed nerves, and the bulls would hope that continues. 53,000 is the first level to watch on the upside for the Nifty Bank. Keep an eye on oil sensitivities, Natco Pharma, BEL, NTPC Green Energy and other names.Watch this space for all the LIVE stock market updates.
