Six killed as submarine carrying 45 Russians sinks in Egypt’s Red Sea

Tourist Submarine Highlights: At least six are feared dead, while several others injured after a tourist submarine sinks in the Red Sea off the coast of the Egyptian city of Hurghada on Thursday, March 27. As per Moscow’s embassy, 45 passengers were aboard, including minors. All the passengers are believed to be Russians.

Tourist Submarine Highlights: At least six are feared dead, while several others injured after a tourist submarine sinks in the Red Sea off the coast of the Egyptian city of Hurghada on Thursday, March 27. As per Moscow’s embassy, 45 passengers were aboard, including minors. All the passengers are believed to be Russians.

29 passengers were rescued and taken to safety. Ambulances and other emergency services have been deployed at the site. The vessel involved was owned by Sindbad Submarines.
