Shares of Solarworld Energy Solutions were trading largely flat at ₹222.33 on the NSE in afternoon trade following the announcement.
The company also announced key board-level changes. Independent Director and Chairperson Rini Chordia resigned from her position with effect from the close of business hours on May 26, 2026, citing pre-occupation and personal commitments. Following her resignation, the board approved the reconstitution of various committees.The board also appointed Managing Director Kartik Teltia as Chairman of the board in addition to his existing role, effective May 27, 2026. Teltia is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an alumnus of the Indian School of Business, with over a decade of experience in driving the company’s strategic planning and operations.
The strong quarterly performance comes after Solarworld Energy secured battery energy storage system (BESS) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders worth around ₹283 crore from NTPC in March this year, strengthening its order pipeline and presence in India’s renewable energy infrastructure segment.
