This special interim dividend will be paid within 30 days from today, the company said in an exchange filing.
Record date for the special dividend has been fixed as August 11, 2025.The payout is the highest ever made by the company in a quarter, based on the data available on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), dating back to 2000.
On the earnings front, Akzo Nobel reported a 20.6% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹91 crore for the quarter, compared to ₹114.6 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue fell 4% to ₹995 crore from ₹1,036.3 crore a year ago.
EBITDA dropped 20.4% to ₹134.4 crore, down from ₹169.8 crore, while margins narrowed to 13.5% from 16.3% year-on-year.
Shares of Akzo Nobel India Ltd. are trading 2.60% higher on Monday at ₹3,730.50. The stock has risen 5% on a year-to-date basis.
