
IREDA | The Reserve Bank of India on March 7, has not acceded to the request of the company for equity investment for development and implementation of 900 MW Upper Karnali Hydro Electric Power Project in Nepal. The company will again represent the RBI in this regard.

Bodal Chemicals | Government of India has recommended imposing anti-dumping duty on imports of Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid falling under tariff items 2933 69 10 or 2933 69 90 of the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, originating in or exported from China and Japan. Bodal Chemicals is the producer of TCAA at its unit 11 in Khambhat. As of now, Bodal Chemicals is the only producer of TCAA products in India and this will help the company add ₹50 crore to ₹60 crore to its topline starting financial year 2025 and also improve the bottomline. The duty will be effective from five years, starting March 7.
