Bajaj Auto Limited | The giant automobile company has issued commercial paper worth ₹500 crore at a discount rate of 6.25%, carrying a CRISIL A1+ credit rating.

Lloyds Metals and Energy | The company has won the bid for the Tandsi-III and Tandsi-III Extension coking coal mine on the Madhya Pradesh–Maharashtra border with a 10.5% premium. The 338-hectare mine holds 23 MMT reserves and will be developed through opencast and underground mining, targeting 0.30 MTPA capacity over four years.

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd | The Cabinet Committee on Security has approved the purchase of 97 LCA Mark 1A fighter jets worth ₹62,000 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics, marking one of HAL’s largest defence orders.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd | RVNL has appointed Provigil Surveillance Ltd, a subsidiary of Magellanic Cloud, for a contract worth ₹85 crore to deploy AI-enabled video surveillance systems at 441 D & E category stations and upgrade facilities at 43 major stations of Southern Railway, aimed at boosting passenger security.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation | IRFC has approved and executed a new term loan facility worth ₹199.70 crore with Surat Integrated Transportation Development Corporation Limited (SITCO).

GIC Housing Finance | The company’s shareholders approved issuing up to ₹2,500 crore NCDs via private placement, okayed related-party deals worth ₹1,000 crore, and cleared multiple board appointments and reappointments.

GNG Electronics Ltd | The company’s board approved enhancing the corporate guarantee for Electronics Bazaar from AED 10 million to AED 15 million with Commercial Bank of Dubai.

GMR Power and Urban Infra | The company will meet on August 22 to consider raising up to ₹3,000 crore via QIP, FCCBs, or other instruments, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Endurance Technologies | The company will invest ₹135.6 crore, funded via internal accruals, to expand ABS, disc brake system, and brake disc capacity at its Waluj plant by Q4 FY26.
