The figure includes a profit of ₹665.4 crore from the sale of land in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Revenue from operations increased 0.2% to ₹1,921.9 crore against ₹1,918.7 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Welspun Corp | The company reported a 127% year-on-year (YoY) spike in net profit at ₹674.7 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. This is against a net profit of ₹297.9 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations dropped 23.9% to ₹3,613.5 crore against ₹4,749.7 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. Rington | Integrated technology solutions provider reported a 15.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹403 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024, against ₹347.9 crore in Q3 FY24. Revenue from operations increased 13.7% to ₹26,716 crore against ₹23,505 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. The company’s EBITDA was up 16.5% to ₹602.4 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹517 crore year-on-year.

Swiggy | Food delivery aggregator reported a net loss of ₹800 crore for the December quarter, wider than the loss of ₹574 crore which it reported during the same quarter last year. Swiggy’s revenue went up by 31% on a year-on-year basis to ₹3,993 crore from ₹3,049 crore last year. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) was at a negative ₹725 crore, which was also wider than the loss of ₹525 crore last year.

GE Vernova | The company reported an 189% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹142.7 crore for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2024 over ₹49.3 crore in Q3 FY24. The CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted a profit of ₹134 crore for the quarter under review. Revenue from operations increased 27.8% to ₹1,073.7 crore against ₹840 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. Welspun Enterprises | Infrastructure developer said its material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers Ltd (WMEL) – formerly known as Michigan Engineers Private Ltd – has been awarded a work order by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The contract, valued at ₹290.88 crore (inclusive of GST and a seven-year operations & maintenance agreement), covers the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the Mogra Storm Water Pumping Station in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

IndiGo | The company said it has been levied with penalties totalling ₹115.87 crore by the GST authorities. The penalties include ₹113.02 crore imposed by the Additional Commissioner of Central Goods & Service Tax — Delhi South Commissionerate, and ₹2.84 crore by the Joint Commissioner of GST & Central Excise – Chennai South – Tamil Nadu. The violations, as per the authorities, are primarily related to the levy of GST on services provided to offshore recipients, which the department has determined is not an export of services.

Timken India | Bearings maker reported a 10.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹74.3 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Timken India posted a net profit of ₹67.5 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations grow 9.7% to ₹671.4 crore as against ₹612.2 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

CMS Info Systems | Banking logistics and technology player reported a 7.1% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit at ₹93.2 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, CMS Info Systems posted a net profit of ₹87 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations dipped 0.2% to ₹581.4 crore as against ₹582.3 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Info Edge | Job portal Naukri.com’s parent firm announced its approval to enter into a contribution agreement with the IE Venture Investment Fund III, a scheme to be launched by Karkardooma Trust. The company plans to commit up to ₹1,000 crore to the fund, either directly or through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, pending approval from SEBI and the shareholders of Info Edge.

The company posted a net profit of ₹455 crore in Q3 FY24. The CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted a profit of ₹485 crore for the quarter under review. Standalone revenue surged 21.8% to ₹3,086 crore against ₹2,534 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Sagility India | Healthtech services provider reported a 207.2% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹216.9 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. The company posted a net profit of ₹70.6 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations increased 15.3% to ₹1,453 crore against ₹1,260 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Sula vineyards | Wine maker reported a 34.9% decline in net profit to ₹28 crore in Q3 FY25, down from ₹43 crore a year earlier. During the three months ended 2024, revenue slipped 1.4% to ₹200 crore, while EBITDA fell 26.1% to ₹53 crore. Margins contracted to 26.5% from 35.3% due to higher costs and lower operating leverage. In a nine-month period, the company posted a net revenue of ₹489.2 crore, up 1.7% YoY.

HG Infra | The company reported a 12.8% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its net profit, which stood at ₹115 crore for the December quarter, compared to ₹102 crore in the same period last year. The company’s EBITDA grew 25.7% YoY to ₹286.9 crore, up from ₹228.3 crore in Q3FY23, indicating strong operational performance. However, revenue saw a 7.3% YoY decline, coming in at ₹1,264.8 crore, down from ₹1,364.5 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Skipper | The company’s net profit rose 77% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹36.1 crore from ₹20.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The Kolkata-based company’s revenue surged 41.6% YoY to ₹1,135.2 crore, compared to ₹801.6 crore in Q3 FY23, driven by robust demand and operational efficiency. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 43.7% YoY to ₹110.8 crore from ₹77.1 crore, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 9.8%, up from 9.6% in the year-ago period.

Azad Engineering | Hyderabad-based company said it has signed a long-term agreement with Rolls-Royce PLC, London, to manufacture and supply critical civil aircraft engine components.
