Asset quality saw further improvement during the quarter. Gross non-performing assets (NPA) declined to 0.73% from 0.91% sequentially, while net NPA eased to 0.18% from 0.20%, indicating stable credit performance and lower stress levels.
Following the earnings announcement, shares of the bank rose sharply, hitting an intraday high of ₹694 on the NSE, up over 8% on Monday, as investors reacted positively to the improved profitability and asset quality trends.The bank’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹12.50 per equity share of face value ₹10 each, translating to a 125% payout for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.
